Smoothies a staple in my house. Busy weekends and fast-paced morning routines force me to think of creative ways to get a healthy nutritious breakfast into my kid’s tummies and mine.

This recipe is the most basic recipe I have in my arsenal; I can whip it up in a matter of minutes; it tastes delicious and it’s healthy!

I love to add a powdered probiotic into the mix, giving it an extra boost, especially as the colder months approach.
